City Market wins BBA architecture award

City Market Onion River Co-op was the recipient of the 2018 Hertzel Pasackow Award for Architectural Excellence at the Burlington Business Association’s Annual Dinner in April.

The BBA gives the award annually to recognize buildings that make a significant contribution to the physical or architectural quality of Burlington. City Market was recognized for its new South End Market, which opened on Flynn Avenue in November. Freeman French Freeman of Burlington served as architects for the 32,000 sf cooperative grocery store.
