FFF Promotes Three to Senior Positions

March 31, 2026

Freeman French Freeman, Vermont’s leading architectural firm, is proud to announce three promotions at our Burlington-based practice.

Jesse Robbins, AIA, LEED AP, ASHRAE joins the ownership team as Associate Principal. A familiar face at the firm and in the community, Jesse has been a part of the FFF family for over a quarter century. First serving as an intern in the late 1990s and later joining FFF as a full-time employee in 2000, Jesse has taken on increasingly complex projects over the course of his career.

Jesse’s early work included a wide range of project types in the health care, commercial, and higher education markets, but in recent years most of his attention has been focused on Burlington Square, the largest mixed-use development ever built in the state of Vermont. “Jesse really cares about this project and its shows,” says Burlington Square developer Dave Farrington. “His attention to detail and always having a grip on the big picture has had a huge impact on our success.”

Jesse received his architecture degree from Syracuse University and is also a proud graduate of the architectural and engineering design program at the Center for Technology at Essex High School.

Jamie Gravel is promoted to Senior Project Manager. Now in her sixth year at FFF, Jamie has played a key role in our growing health care design practice, working on multiple projects including a new surgical suite at Copley Hospital, the River Valley Therapeutic Residence, and Champlain Islands Dental. She is currently working on the design of a new dental hygiene teaching clinic at Vermont State University’s Williston campus. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University and has over 25 years’ experience as a designer and project manager.

Collen Perron, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB is promoted to Senior Architect. Colleen joined the firm in 2021 following a 20-plus year career in the metro New York City region. At FFF she has played a major role in the firm’s ongoing efforts to restore and modernize the State Capital Complex following the record-breaking flood of 2023 in Montpelier. Colleen has degrees in both architecture and civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
