Freeman French Freeman is currently hiring for both a Project Architect and Interior Designer at our Burlington, Vermont office.

The Project Architect position is a mid- to senior-level role that requires a minimum of eight years’ experience. The Interior Designer position is perfect for entry-level candidates looking to learn and grow at one of Vermont’s premier design firms.

Key qualifications for each position are as follows:

PROJECT ARCHITECT

• Is a licensed architect
• Has 8+ years of production experience in design and BIM document preparation
• Is fluent with Revit
• Is familiar with sustainable design principles – LEED AP certification a plus
• Has a strong working knowledge of codes and permitting

INTERIOR DESIGNER

• Has a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in interior design or related field. Candidates with other education or experience will be considered based on demonstrated capabilities.
• Has 0-3 years of professional design experience
• Familiarity with Revit is preferred
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or related software is preferred
• Interest in a sustainable approach to interior design

Both positions require excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a collaborative environment.
